How quickly time flies. We are already two weeks into winter quarter. Thanks to everybody for making 2010 an amazing year for the UCSD Bike Shop.
Most spectacularly, we switched locations with General Store. In typical Bike Shop fashion, we moved in a day with very little warning. Fortunately the space is nearly twice the size so it made the move a little easier than last time. An extra special thank you to all the volunteers that helped with that, especially to the cycling and triathlon team members who put in a long and difficult day.
Every year we also lose staff to graduation. This year some special students and long time staff moved into the alumni division of Bike Shop employees. Erik, Ian and Tyler will be missed.
With that, 2011 is shaping up to be another exciting year. Stop by and give us some input as we look to move forward with the renovation of the new space. Don’t forget to renew your bike registration if you need it, and make sure to give your bike some love, especially with all the weather we have had.
